Prawns And Peas In Silky Egg Sauce On Rice 滑蛋蝦球飯

I love fast food and this is as fast as a good home-cooked meal can get. Well if 5 minutes is all you want to spend in the kitchen after a busy day, this one is for you! Substitute the prawns with chicken or tofu and you'll have a delicious meal when you really are too BUSY to cook. The best thing is this will only set you back for around 5 dollars!

serves 1
you'll need;
10 medium size prawns
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup of peas
1 egg
1 cup of chicken stock
dash of soy
dash of sesame oil
dash of Chinese cooking wine
salt and white pepper to taste
1 spring onion, sliced
corn starch solution

Saute garlic follow by the prawns, cook for 30 seconds then pour in the stock and seasonings.

Bring the stock to a simmer and add the peas.

Add the corn starch solution and when the sauce thicken, crack in the egg.

Lightly scramble the egg and turn off the heat.

Pour everything over a bowl of hot rice.

A 5 minutes meal for under 5 bucks? no this is not a joke!
