春節快樂 Happy Lunar New Year

It's official! The rabbit has arrived! We would like to wish everyone a happy and safe lunar new year! We ended the year with a very low key reunion dinner at home and I will be posting our dinner menu in the coming days.

I actually made a small effort to create some festive atmosphere this year - a red lantern and a little good luck sign 福 (good fortune) being put upside down  - 倒 (upside down) sounds similar to 到 (arrival) on the front door.

Some golden dancing ladies and mandarins and a 大吉 (big luck) sign on the kitchen window.

Our very simple reunion dinner for two.
